Killzone 3 for PlayStation 3 continues the brutal conflict between the ISA and the Helghast, picking up immediately after the events of Killzone 2. Stranded deep within enemy territory on the hostile planet Helghan, players once again step into the boots of Sergeant Tomas "Sev" Sevchenko as he fights to survive and help bring an end to one of gaming's most intense interplanetary wars.
The game delivers cinematic first-person shooter action across a variety of environments, including frozen wastelands, dense jungles, industrial complexes, and war-torn cities. Players wield an arsenal of futuristic weapons and equipment while facing increasingly dangerous Helghast forces, powerful vehicles, and towering mechanized enemies.
Killzone 3 expands upon its predecessor with new gameplay mechanics, including jetpacks, brutal melee combat, and a wider range of weapons and combat scenarios. The game also features cooperative campaign support, allowing two players to experience the story together.
