Description
Description
Experience one of the most iconic consoles of the 16-bit era with the SEGA Genesis Model 1 Console, the original hardware release that helped define a generation of gaming. Known for its sleek design, powerful arcade-style performance, and legendary game library, the Genesis Model 1 became a centerpiece of the early 1990s console wars and remains a favorite among retro gaming enthusiasts today.
The SEGA Genesis Model 1 features the classic “High Definition Graphics” design found on early console revisions and delivers authentic cartridge-based gameplay for a massive library of Genesis titles. Players can enjoy legendary games such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, Shinobi, Altered Beast, Phantasy Star, and countless other 16-bit classics.
Designed to bring arcade-quality experiences into the home, the Genesis became known for its fast-paced action games, strong sports lineup, and memorable soundtracks powered by its Yamaha FM audio hardware.
