- Game + Case + Manual: a pre-owned copy, includes the original game cartridge or disc, plus a case with cover art and the original instruction manual. For disc-based games, the case may be replaced with a clean third-party case if the original is damaged or missing. No reprinted cover art is used.

Pre-Owned Items: Unless a product is listed as New, it is considered Pre-Owned. All Pre-Owned games are carefully cleaned, inspected, and prepped for resale. Cartridge games are cleaned on the outside to remove dirt and grime, and also have their contacts cleaned with 99% isopropyl alcohol. Disc games are resurfaced using a professional-grade ECO-Master disc repair system when needed. All items are fully functional and backed by the Bitjump Games Pre-Owned Guarantee. Learn more about our pre-owned game refurbishment process.
Variant Note: Unless specifically stated otherwise, you may receive any standard retail variant of the game (including releases such as Player’s Choice, Selects, Greatest Hits, or Platinum Hits). If you have a preference, leave a note at checkout or email us at contact@bitjumpgames.com before placing your order.
Description
Description
The HD Retrovision SNES YPbPr Component Cable is a gift to your eyeballs. In the past, you would be stuck playing Mega Man X and Star Fox with cables that resulted in color striping and bleeding. Those problems are a thing of the past when you start playing your Super Nintendo with an HD Retrovision YPbPr cable. Use them on an HDTV that supports 240p, or on a standard-definition CRT for that classic look.
The following chart contains a list of tested and confirmed console models which have been verified to work with the SNES YPbPr Cable. The intent of this list is to give a general idea of what types of consoles can work with the cable, and is not exhaustive. Therefore, we expect the cable to work with even more models and console types than what is listed, but we are unable to explicitly put them in the list unless functionality is directly confirmed by us.
As highlighted below, there is no out-of-the-box solution for using the SNES/SFC "mini" (SNS-101 / SHVC-101) or Nintendo 64 with the SNES YPbPr cable. These specific consoles require internal upgrade. The upgrade services listed within the chart are the only ones approved by HD Retrovision. Self-installation kits or other similar types of services are NOT supported under warranty.
Consoles compatible SNES HD Retrovision Cables (no modifications needed):
- Super Nintendo (model no. SNS-001) - Buy SNES from Bitjump Games
- Super Famicom (model no. SHVC-001)
- Super Nintendo (PAL) (model no. SNSP-001A(UKV)
Consoles not compatible with SNES HD Retrovision Cables unless upgraded:
- Super Nintendo / Super Famicom "Mini" or "Jr" (SNS-001 USA, or SHVC-101 Japan)
- Must have RGB Bypass upgrade installed
- Nintendo 64 (NUS-001(USA), and NUS-001 from Japan)
- Must have RGB bypass upgrade installed
NOTE: HD Retrovision YPbPr component cables only output Standard-Definition video. No High-Definition signals are directly available through their cables. See this FAQ for more details.
Your television or display must be able to support "240p" video over YPbPr to use this product. You can easily test for this by following these steps.
