Description

Field Commander - PSP is a turn-based military strategy game that puts players in command of modern combat forces across a series of tactical battlefields. The single-player campaign follows a newly recruited commander fighting against a dangerous terrorist organization, with missions built around capturing objectives, eliminating enemy forces, and controlling key positions on the map.

Gameplay takes place on grid-based battlefields where players move land, air, and naval units in alternating turns. Different unit types have specific strengths, weaknesses, movement ranges, and attack capabilities, making positioning and careful planning essential. Players can capture bases, deploy reinforcements, manage resources, and use special commander abilities to influence battles. Terrain also affects movement and combat, adding another layer of strategy to each mission.

Developed by Day 1 Studios and published by Sony Online Entertainment in 2006, Field Commander was designed specifically for the PSP and offers a substantial portable strategy experience. Its varied unit roster, mission-based campaign, tactical depth, and military theme make it an appealing choice for turn-based strategy fans and PSP collectors.
