Description
Description
Strap into the cockpit of a high-tech walking tank in Metal Head, a visually stunning 3D exclusive for the SEGA 32X. As one of the premier showcases for the system’s ability to handle texture-mapped polygons, this mech-combat sim delivered a cinematic experience that was lightyears ahead of standard 16-bit consoles. It is a mandatory, high-energy essential for 32X collectors and fans of tactical shooters who want to witness the raw power of the "Mushroom" add-on’s dual 32-bit processors.
Ditch the 2D sprites and master the full 360-degree tactical movement required to suppress a global terrorist uprising. Metal Head features immersive first-person and third-person perspectives, allowing you to navigate through fully 3D urban environments, border zones, and enemy fortresses. The gameplay emphasizes customizable heavy weaponry; you’ll need to balance your loadout with vulcan cannons, missiles, and grenades to take down enemy tanks and rival mechs. Every mission presents unique objectives, from search-and-destroy raids to precision sniping, all while the camera dynamically scales to keep you in the heart of the explosion. With its impressive texture mapping, digitized voice acting, and a pulse-pounding electronic soundtrack, this title delivers a definitive and technically ambitious 32-bit combat experience on your original SEGA hardware.
