Description
Description
Step into the ring and trade paint with the big boys in Toughman Contest for the SEGA 32X. Moving far beyond the 16-bit version, this 32X enhancement utilizes the "Mushroom" add-on to deliver massive, detailed character sprites and a much more fluid 32-bit presentation. It is a mandatory essential for fighting game fans and 32X collectors who want a brutal, first-person perspective boxing experience that pushes the hardware's color and scaling capabilities.
Ditch the featherweights and master the bone-crunching power punches required to conquer the amateur boxing circuit. Based on the real-world televised event, Toughman Contest puts you in the gloves of a rookie fighter looking to climb the ranks through a series of increasingly difficult three-round bouts. The 32X version is the definitive way to play, featuring enhanced 32-bit digitized graphics and larger-than-life opponents that fill the screen with every jab and hook. The gameplay emphasizes strategic stamina management; you’ll need to balance your offensive flurries with well-timed blocks and dodges to avoid getting caught by a knockout blow. With its digitized ring announcer, responsive controls, and a diverse roster of colorful brawlers, this title delivers a definitive and hard-hitting 32-bit sports experience on your original SEGA hardware.
