Description
Description
Dark Wizard is one of the deepest and most ambitious strategy RPGs ever released for the Sega CD, combining classic turn-based tactics with a rich, branching story and over-the-top 16-bit fantasy flair. Featuring fully voiced cutscenes, a cinematic soundtrack, and hundreds of hours of potential gameplay, it’s a crown jewel in the Sega CD library.
Choose from four unique characters—each with their own campaign, perspective, and magical abilities—as you fight to reclaim the kingdom of Cheshire from the forces of darkness. Command dozens of units on massive battle maps, summon powerful creatures, and manage resources as you build your army and expand your influence across the land. With deep customization, branching paths, and permanent unit progression, Dark Wizard offers an experience closer to a PC strategy epic than most console games of its era.
Whether you’re a fan of tactical RPGs or a Sega CD collector, Dark Wizard is an essential addition—offering depth, challenge, and storytelling rarely matched on the platform.
