Eternal Champions - SEGA CD
Description
Description
Eternal Champions: Challenge from the Dark Side takes the original Genesis fighting game to the next level with expanded content, brutal finishing moves, and the power of the Sega CD. Featuring full-motion video cutscenes, CD-quality audio, and a massive roster of 24 playable characters, this definitive version of Eternal Champions is a must-play for fans of classic 2D fighters.
Each fighter hails from a different point in history, battling in a deadly tournament for a second chance at life. The Sega CD version introduces new characters, enhanced animation, and the infamous "Overkills"—graphic stage-specific finishers that pushed the boundaries of what the system (and the rating board) would allow.
Backed by a moody soundtrack and dark storyline, Challenge from the Dark Side is one of the most content-rich and technically impressive fighting games on the Sega CD. A cult favorite that combines deep lore, sharp mechanics, and over-the-top violence into a standout 16-bit experience.
