You play as Heimdall, a demi-god chosen to recover the stolen weapons of Odin, Thor, and Frey in order to prevent Ragnarok—the end of the world. Your journey spans Viking villages, icy dungeons, and mythical realms, all rendered with detailed visuals and atmospheric audio made possible by the Sega CD’s expanded capabilities.
Gameplay combines top-down exploration with light combat and character interaction. You'll recruit a party of warriors, solve environmental puzzles, and engage in turn-based battles across more than 30 locations. The Sega CD version adds improved sound, voice clips, and enhanced music over its cartridge-based counterparts, making for a more immersive experience.
