Description
Description
Wild Woody is one of the final and most bizarre exclusives released for the Sega CD—an offbeat 2D platformer starring a wisecracking pencil brought to life. You play as Woody, a walking, talking pencil on a mission to erase evil and restore order after magical sketches come to life and plunge the world into chaos.
Armed with your eraser head, you’ll scribble, jump, and erase enemies across hand-drawn levels filled with animated cutscenes and Sega CD-quality music and voice acting. Wild Woody mixes traditional platforming mechanics with a quirky sense of humor and surreal art style, making it one of the most unique experiences on the platform.
As one of the last games developed for the Sega CD before its discontinuation, Wild Woody is a must-have for collectors—both as a curiosity and as a genuinely creative (and slightly unhinged) entry in the 16-bit era’s experimental catalog.
