Description
Description
Prepare yourself! Experience the controversial arcade phenomenon that sparked a revolution: Mortal Kombat for the SEGA Genesis. While other consoles played it safe, the Genesis version famously retained the grit and intensity of the arcade original, provided you knew the secret. It is a mandatory, high-energy essential for fighting game fans and Genesis collectors who want to own the most iconic "edgy" title of the 90s.
Ditch the sanitized ports and master the visceral combat and legendary Fatalities that define the tournament. Mortal Kombat on the Genesis features the full roster of seven iconic warriors—from the icy Sub-Zero and the vengeful Scorpion to the lightning god Raiden—each with their own signature special moves and gruesome finishers. The gameplay is optimized for the Genesis hardware, delivering fast-paced 16-bit action and the hidden "ABACABB" blood code that unlocked the uncensored experience gamers craved. Battle your way through the warrior shrine, defeat the four-armed Shokan prince Goro, and face the soul-stealing Shang Tsung in the ultimate showdown. With its digitized character sprites and haunting atmospheric soundtrack, this title delivers a definitive and rebellious 16-bit arcade experience on your original SEGA hardware.
