Description
Description
The invasion of Earthrealm has begun. Experience the brutal, high-speed evolution of the series in Mortal Kombat 3 for the SEGA Genesis. Ditching the traditional tournament setting for a gritty, urban warzone, MK3 introduced a sophisticated "Run" button and a deep "Dial-a-Combo" system that forever changed the pace of the franchise. It is a mandatory, high-energy essential for fighting game purists and Genesis collectors who want the most technical and aggressive 16-bit kombat experience.
Ditch the slow-paced defensive play and master the explosive chain-combos and frantic sprint mechanics that define this entry. Mortal Kombat 3 on the Genesis features a massive roster of new and returning warriors, including the cybernetic ninjas Cyrax and Sektor, the riot-policeman Stryker, and the four-armed Shokan queen Sheeva. The gameplay is the most complex of the trilogy, introducing Animalities and Mercy finishers alongside the legendary Fatalities and Babalities. Navigate through multi-tiered stages where you can punch opponents through ceilings into entirely new arenas, all while the ominous Shao Kahn taunts your every move. With its digitized urban backdrops and a pulse-pounding industrial soundtrack, this title delivers a definitive and visceral 16-bit arcade experience on your original SEGA hardware.
