Learn more about our pre-owned game refurbishment process.

Description
Description
Play your Sega Genesis Model 1 with cleaner video and clearer audio on today’s displays. This console includes the Zaxour Triple Bypass V2+ audio/video upgrade pre-installed, delivering reduced video noise (jailbars), improved color separation, and a lower-noise, properly balanced audio path—so classic soundtracks and effects come through with the punch they deserve.
Why the Triple Bypass V2+ is worth it: it routes video and audio through high-quality amplification and filtering for a crisper RGB/composite presentation and more accurate YM2612/PSG output. The result is a noticeably cleaner image and tighter, more faithful audio versus stock hardware—ideal for CRTs, professional scalers, or capture setups.
Cable recommendations: for best results, use properly shielded Genesis 2/Mega Drive 2 RGB SCART cables built for the Model 2 mini-DIN from trusted makers (Retro-Access, Insurrection Industries). If you prefer component (YPbPr), HD Retrovision’s Genesis cables provide an excellent analog signal (no adapter needed as the Triple Bypass upgrade adds a Genesis 2-style AV Out port). Quality cables minimize interference and let the upgrade shine.
Refurbished for reliability: each unit is cleaned inside and out with attention to the cartridge slot, ports, and switches; the system is function-verified for consistent power-on and stable gameplay. Normal cosmetic wear (light scuffs or small marks) may be present and does not affect performance.
