Learn more about our pre-owned game refurbishment process.

Description
Description
Unlock the full potential of the compact Sega Genesis Model 3 with a console upgraded to Zaxour’s Triple Bypass V2+. The Model 3 is light and portable, but its stock audio/video can lag behind earlier revisions—this upgrade cleans up video noise (jailbars), restores rich stereo output, and delivers a clearer, more faithful presentation on CRTs and modern displays.
What the Triple Bypass V2+ brings to Model 3: THS7374 RGB amplification for crisp, low-noise RGB; integrated Mega Amp 2.0 for balanced, high-quality stereo (no more mono); and wiring corrections that restore support for cartridges that the stock Model 3 often struggles with, including Virtua Racing (SVP) and Game Genie.
Cable recommendations (Model 3 pinout): Use properly shielded Genesis/Mega Drive RGB SCART cables made for the Model 2/3 mini-DIN (Retro-Access, Insurrection Industries). Prefer component? HD Retrovision’s Genesis component (YPbPr) cables plug directly into the Model 2/3 A/V port and provide an excellent analog signal to scalers and HDTVs.
Refurbished for reliability: Each system is deep-cleaned inside and out, with attention to the cartridge slot, ports, and switches. The result is a tidy, dependable Model 3 that looks and plays great while preserving original hardware authenticity.
