Description
Description
Shatter the armor and smash through the walls in Fighting Vipers for the Sega Saturn. While Virtua Fighter focused on martial arts discipline, AM2’s 1996 masterpiece brought the "attitude"—introducing high-flying combos, destructible clothing, and enclosed arenas. It is a mandatory essential for 3D fighting fans and Saturn collectors who want to experience the flashiest, most aggressive arcade port in the console's library on original hardware.
Ditch the ring-outs and master the brutal strategy of the "Armor Break" system. In Fighting Vipers, every fighter—from the Akira-inspired Bahn to the fan-favorite Honey—enters the ring with protective plating that can be shattered with high-damage hits, leaving them vulnerable to devastating finishers. The gameplay is a masterclass in fast-paced 32-bit combat; because the rings are enclosed by walls, you’ll utilize the environment for wall-jumps and massive impacts that can literally blow the cage apart on the final blow. The Saturn version is highly regarded for its near-perfect arcade translation, maintaining a blistering frame rate while adding console-exclusive features like the "Big Head" mode and the ability to unlock the legendary Pepsiman in the Japanese release. Featuring a rocking 90s soundtrack and responsive, easy-to-learn controls, this title delivers a visceral and unapologetically loud 32-bit fighting experience. It’s time to suit up—this title delivers the ultimate cage-match showdown on your original Sega hardware.
