Virtua Cop - SEGA Saturn
Description
Description
Virtua Cop (Not for Resale) for SEGA Saturn is a special edition of Sega’s groundbreaking light gun shooter, often included as a pack-in title with the console. This version delivers the same fast-paced arcade action that made the series a hit, putting players in the role of police officers Michael Hardy and James Cools as they fight to dismantle a dangerous crime syndicate. Known for its revolutionary use of 3D polygon graphics, the game set a new standard for light gun shooters when it debuted in the mid-1990s.
Players must react quickly to on-screen enemies, using either the Saturn controller or the Virtua Gun accessory to take precise shots while avoiding civilian targets. Each stage features unique urban environments, cinematic shootouts, and branching paths that keep the gameplay fresh. With its innovative target system and arcade-accurate feel, Virtua Cop (Not for Resale) remains a notable piece of SEGA Saturn history, combining the thrill of the arcade with the accessibility of a home release.
