Virtua Fighter Remix - Sega Saturn
Description
Description
Virtua Fighter Remix for Sega Saturn is an enhanced version of Sega’s landmark 3D fighting game, featuring updated visuals and refined presentation compared to the original Virtua Fighter. Players choose from a roster of martial artists, each with distinct fighting styles rooted in real-world disciplines, and compete in fast-paced one-on-one matches that emphasize precision and timing.
Designed for the Sega Saturn, Virtua Fighter Remix improves character models, textures, and frame rate while preserving the series’ core mechanics. Combat focuses on fundamentals such as spacing, blocking, and countering rather than flashy special moves, making it a skill-driven fighting experience. Multiple modes support solo play and versus matches, highlighting the game’s arcade roots.
This Not for Resale version was typically distributed as a pack-in or promotional copy and contains the same gameplay content as the standard release, without additional bonuses. Virtua Fighter Remix is an important entry in the history of 3D fighting games and a strong addition to a Sega Saturn collection focused on influential titles or classic competitive fighters.
