Released by Konami in North America in 1992, The Legend of the Mystical Ninja introduced Western audiences to the long-running Ganbare Goemon series. Its memorable soundtrack, quirky sense of humor, colorful visuals, and inventive gameplay have helped it earn a reputation as one of the SNES's most beloved cult classics.
