Description
Description
The Super Nintendo SNES with a pre-installed Voultar SNESRGB kit represents the pinnacle of 16-bit visual fidelity for the original "thick" model console. This professional modification unlocks the system's ability to output a high-quality, low-noise RGB signal, which is essential for achieving a pixel-perfect image on modern scalers and professional monitors. By bypassing the aging internal video circuitry, this kit ensures that the vibrant colors and sharp details of your favorite classics are displayed with the absolute best clarity possible.
This refurbished unit combines nostalgic hardware with modern reliability, making it the ideal centerpiece for any high-end retro setup. Each system is meticulously prepared to provide a stable, interference-free picture that traditional stock consoles simply cannot match. Whether you are connecting to a vintage CRT or a 4K display through an upscaler, this system is designed for enthusiasts who refuse to compromise on video quality and want to experience the SNES exactly as intended.
Cables and setup: We recommend using HD Retrovision Premium YPbPr Component cables for Super Nintendo with this SNESRGB upgraded 1CHIP Consoles. You can also use SCART, S-Video, and Composite cables. Pair this console with good cables to a 4K Upscaler like the PixelFX Morph 4K - Advanced 4K HDMI Upscaler.
Refurbished for reliability:
- Voultar SNESRGB Kit Pre-installed on motherboard
- LPF Disabled
- C-Sync from SNESRGB, not from SNES
- 220nF capacitor soldered to C11 for Ghosting Fix
- All capacitors replaced on the motherboard with cap kit from Console5
- 7805 voltage regulator replaced with a 78S05 voltage regulator
- Console shell cleaned inside and out
- Tabs removed in cartridge connector to allow Japanese cartridges
What’s Included
- Super Nintendo 1CHIP console with above services and upgrades
- AC adapter
- No controller or AV cables included
Please note: This is an authentic refurbished console. While we do our best to restore every system to excellent condition, some light cosmetic wear may still be present from normal use over time. Every console is tested and guaranteed to be fully functional.
