Xbox Original Console - Black
Description
Description
NOTE: Product is only avaialble for in-store pickup.
The Original Xbox Console in Black is Microsoft’s first home gaming system, known for its powerful hardware, built-in hard drive, and iconic library of early 2000s classics. Often searched as Xbox Original, Xbox Classic Console, or OG Xbox system, this model introduced players to major franchises like Halo: Combat Evolved, Fable, Forza Motorsport, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. With its distinctive black-and-green design and robust build quality, the console remains a favorite among collectors and retro gamers.
The system supports four built-in controller ports, Dolby Digital sound, and a wide range of physical media, including DVD-based games and DVD movies (with the optional DVD playback kit). The internal hard drive allows players to save games without memory cards and even rip music for use in supported games. Many titles feature enhanced visuals and faster performance compared to their PS2 and GameCube counterparts, making the Original Xbox a standout platform of its era.
For players searching for retro Microsoft consoles, classic Xbox hardware, or a reliable way to revisit early Xbox exclusives, the Original Xbox Console in Black remains a durable and highly collectible system. It's an essential piece of gaming history that still delivers excellent performance today.
Refurbished: Cleaned inside and out with attention to the disc drive/laser, power/reset switches, fan, and AV/multi-out ports. The original laser is replaced if it doesn't game discs. Components like capacitors, laser, fan, and other components are replaced as needed. Included controller has been cleaned and tested.
- Good Condition: Console is fully functional and in overall good cosmetic condition. It may show light signs of wear such as minor scuffs, small scratches, or slight discoloration from normal use, but nothing that significantly impacts its appearance.
-
Acceptable Condition: Console is fully functional but shows noticeable cosmetic wear. This may include dents, cracks, scratches, stickers or residue, marker/ink, or heavier discoloration. These flaws are cosmetic only and do not affect performance.
