007 Agent Under Fire - PlayStation 2
Description
Description
007 Agent Under Fire - PlayStation 2 is a first-person shooter that puts players in the role of James Bond during an original espionage adventure. Bond investigates a conspiracy involving the dangerous Malprave Industries, leading him through secret facilities, international locations, and high-security installations while uncovering a plan involving advanced cloning technology.
Gameplay combines first-person gunfights with stealth, gadget use, and vehicle-based missions. Bond can use a variety of firearms alongside Q-Branch equipment for accessing locked areas, gathering information, and overcoming security systems. Certain stages shift into driving sequences featuring high-speed pursuits and mounted weapons, while mission scoring rewards players for completing objectives with accuracy, efficiency, and signature Bond-style actions. The game also includes competitive split-screen multiplayer with multiple characters, weapons, and arenas.
Developed by EA Redwood Shores and published by Electronic Arts in 2001, 007 Agent Under Fire was the first Bond game created around an original storyline rather than directly adapting a specific film. Its mix of shooting, gadgets, driving, cinematic missions, and local multiplayer make it an appealing choice for James Bond fans and PlayStation 2 collectors.
