Description

Disney Epic Mickey - Wii is an action-adventure game starring Mickey Mouse in a darker, imaginative world known as the Wasteland. After accidentally damaging this forgotten realm, Mickey must help restore it while confronting the consequences of his actions and meeting characters drawn from Disney’s animation history, including Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.

Gameplay combines platforming, exploration, combat, and puzzle-solving with Mickey’s magical paintbrush. Paint can restore missing parts of the environment, while thinner can erase objects and open alternate paths. These tools allow players to approach certain situations in different ways, with choices affecting characters, locations, and parts of the story. The Wii Remote is used to aim the brush, while platforming sections and environmental puzzles make up much of the adventure.

Developed by Junction Point Studios and published by Disney Interactive Studios in 2010, Disney Epic Mickey was created specifically for Wii and is notable for bringing Oswald the Lucky Rabbit back into a major Disney production. Its distinctive art direction, morality-based choices, paint-and-thinner mechanics, and deep references to Disney history make it an appealing choice for Disney fans and Wii collectors.
