Frogger - PlayStation
Description
Description
Frogger for PlayStation reimagines the classic arcade favorite in a vibrant 3D world while preserving the simple, addictive gameplay that made the original a timeless hit. Developed by SCE Cambridge Studio and published by Hasbro Interactive, players once again guide Frogger across a series of increasingly challenging environments filled with hazards, enemies, and tricky obstacles on a quest to reach safety.
Each level presents unique puzzles that require careful timing, quick reflexes, and strategic movement. Players hop across busy roads, floating logs, rivers, sewers, castles, caves, and other imaginative locations while avoiding traffic, predators, collapsing platforms, and environmental dangers. Collectibles and hidden bonuses encourage exploration and reward skilled play.
As players progress, new mechanics and obstacles keep the gameplay fresh, introducing moving platforms, switches, traps, and increasingly complex level designs. The colorful visuals, charming animations, and memorable soundtrack give this modern interpretation its own unique personality while honoring the spirit of the arcade original.
Praised for successfully bringing Frogger into the 3D era, Frogger became one of the original PlayStation's most popular puzzle-platformers. Its accessible controls, creative level design, and timeless pick-up-and-play gameplay make it an excellent addition to any PlayStation collection.
