Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Wii U
Description
Description
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Wii U is an open-world action-adventure game that follows Link as he awakens after a century-long sleep to a ruined kingdom of Hyrule. With Calamity Ganon threatening the land, Link must recover his memories, seek help from the four Divine Beasts, and prepare to confront the force that devastated Hyrule.
Gameplay emphasizes exploration, experimentation, and player freedom across a vast interconnected world. Link can climb most surfaces, glide from high points, cook meals and elixirs, solve physics-based puzzles, battle enemies, and use the Sheikah Slate to access abilities such as remote bombs, Magnesis, Stasis, and Cryonis. Weapons and shields have durability, encouraging players to adapt to different situations and make use of whatever equipment they find.
Developed and published by Nintendo in 2017, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild launched simultaneously on Wii U and Nintendo Switch. Its open-ended structure, dynamic physics, environmental systems, memorable shrines, and freedom of approach helped redefine the Zelda series, making the Wii U version an essential title for fans and collectors.
