Metroid Prime Hunters - Nintendo DS is a first-person action-adventure that follows bounty hunter Samus Aran as she investigates a mysterious transmission originating from the Alimbic Cluster. Her search for the source of the message brings her into conflict with several rival bounty hunters, each pursuing the same powerful secret hidden within the region.
Gameplay combines first-person shooting, exploration, scanning, platforming, and puzzle solving across multiple planets and space stations. Samus uses her Arm Cannon, Morph Ball, missiles, and other familiar abilities while gaining access to new weapons and upgrades throughout the adventure. The Nintendo DS touch screen is used for aiming and camera control, creating a control scheme tailored specifically to the handheld. The game also includes a substantial multiplayer mode with several playable bounty hunters, each featuring unique weapons and abilities.
