Description
Description
Kirby's Epic Yarn for the Nintendo Wii takes Kirby on a colorful platforming adventure through a world made entirely of yarn, fabric, buttons, and other craft materials. After an encounter with the mysterious sorcerer Yin-Yarn, Kirby is transported to Patch Land and transformed into yarn himself. Teaming up with Prince Fluff, Kirby sets out to repair the magical fabric that holds Patch Land together and stop Yin-Yarn's plans.
Kirby's new yarn body gives him abilities unlike those found in many of his traditional adventures. Instead of inhaling enemies, Kirby can unravel them with a yarn whip, swing from buttons, pull on zippers, and transform into vehicles and other forms to overcome obstacles. Creative environments use their fabric-inspired designs as part of the gameplay, revealing hidden passages, collectibles, and interactive scenery throughout each stage.
Developed by Good-Feel and HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo in 2010, Kirby's Epic Yarn also supports two-player cooperative play, allowing a second player to join as Prince Fluff. Whether you're expanding your Nintendo Wii collection, looking for a family-friendly cooperative platformer, or exploring one of Kirby's most visually distinctive adventures, Kirby's Epic Yarn delivers imaginative level design, approachable gameplay, and a charming handcrafted world.
