New Super Mario Bros. Wii - Wii is a side-scrolling platformer that sends Mario and friends across the Mushroom Kingdom after Princess Peach is kidnapped by Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings. Players travel through colorful worlds filled with familiar enemies, hidden areas, moving platforms, secret exits, and challenging castles while working toward a final confrontation with Bowser.
Gameplay combines classic Mario running and jumping with new power-ups including the Propeller Mushroom, Penguin Suit, and Ice Flower. The game supports up to four players simultaneously in local multiplayer, with Mario, Luigi, and two Toads able to cooperate or compete through the same stages. Players can bounce off one another, carry teammates, collect Star Coins, and discover alternate paths while navigating more than 70 levels.
