WarioWare: Smooth Moves - Wii is a fast-paced party game built around a rapid succession of short, absurd microgames. Wario discovers a mysterious object called the Form Baton, which is represented by the Wii Remote, and players use it in a wide variety of poses and motions to complete challenges that often last only a few seconds.
Gameplay revolves around quickly understanding each microgame’s objective and performing the required motion before time runs out. Players may swing, point, balance, twist, or hold the Wii Remote in different “Forms,” with each pose changing how the controller is used. The game includes a single-player progression mode as well as multiplayer activities designed around passing the Wii Remote between players for quick competitive and cooperative challenges.
Developed by Nintendo SPD and Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo in 2007, WarioWare: Smooth Moves was created specifically around the Wii’s motion controls. Its inventive controller use, rapid-fire pacing, quirky humor, and strong party-game appeal make it an entertaining choice for Wario fans, casual multiplayer groups, and collectors building a Wii library.
