Dead Rising 2 for Xbox 360 is a zombie survival action game that expands on the open-world chaos of the original. Players take on the role of Chuck Greene, a former motocross champion trapped in Fortune City during a massive zombie outbreak. As he fights to survive, Chuck must also secure doses of Zombrex to keep his infected daughter alive, all while uncovering the truth behind the outbreak and clearing his own name after being framed for the disaster.
The game offers thousands of zombies on-screen at once and gives players the freedom to fight back with an arsenal of everyday objects—or combine items to create powerful custom weapons like the Spiked Bat or Electric Rake. Alongside the main story, time-based missions and survivor rescues add urgency to the gameplay. Multiplayer modes include two-player online co-op and the competitive Terror is Reality game show, where players face off in over-the-top zombie challenges. With its mix of dark humor, resourceful combat, and nonstop action, Dead Rising 2 delivers one of the most memorable zombie experiences on Xbox 360.
