Wipeout 2 - Xbox 360 is a party and action game based on the ABC television competition series, challenging players to tackle exaggerated obstacle courses filled with spinning platforms, swinging barriers, giant balls, and other hazards. The game recreates the show’s slapstick style with colorful courses, humorous commentary, and plenty of opportunities for spectacular falls.
Gameplay uses the Xbox 360 Kinect sensor to track the player’s body movements as they run, jump, duck, dodge, and balance through each challenge. Courses feature a variety of obstacles inspired by the television series, with players trying to reach the finish while avoiding knockdowns and minimizing their completion time. The game is designed for active, accessible play and includes multiple events that can be tackled individually or with friends.
Developed by Behaviour Interactive and published by Activision in 2011, Wipeout 2 expands on the original game with additional courses, obstacles, and Kinect-based motion controls.
