This internal HDMI upgrade delivers a clean, digitally processed signal with low latency—sharper detail, stable color, and none of the noise common to aging analog outputs. It supports 480p (as well as 480i/576i) and works great with capture devices.
Under the hood: ElectronAVE uses GCVideo, an open-source digital video platform that taps the Wii’s internal digital video and converts it to configurable HDMI. GCVideo adds quality-of-life features like an on-screen display for settings* and optional processing modes designed for classic content—all while keeping latency extremely low.
Pairs great with 4K scalers: The ElectronAVE’s stable HDMI output plugs straight into advanced processors like PixelFX Morph 4K and RetroTINK 4K. Let them handle the heavy lifting—precision scaling, profiles, and modern display features—so your Wii’s 480p signal looks beautifully mapped to 4K while staying plug-and-play.
Refurbished for reliability: each console is fully disassembled for deep cleaning, the optical assembly is cleaned, the drive mechanism is inspected, and ports (power/AV/sensor/USB) are serviced for consistent operation. The system is reset so you can set it up fresh. Normal cosmetic wear (light scuffs or small marks) may be present and does not affect gameplay.
