UGC Tapout - Xbox
Description
Description
UGC Tapout - Xbox is a mixed martial arts fighting game released for Microsoft's original Xbox in 2002. Officially titled UFC: Tapout, the game brings the action of the Ultimate Fighting Championship to home consoles, featuring professional fighters competing inside the Octagon. Players can step into the cage with recognizable UFC athletes and experience a variety of fighting styles, including wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, and submission grappling.
Gameplay combines striking, grappling, takedowns, and submission holds in competitive mixed martial arts matches. Players must balance offensive attacks with defensive techniques, using punches, kicks, ground fighting, and submissions to defeat opponents. The game features a roster of UFC fighters, multiple weight classes, and several gameplay modes, including tournament competition and a career-style championship mode. Players can also create custom fighters and compete against friends in local multiplayer matches.
Developed by DreamFactory and published by Crave Entertainment, UFC: Tapout was one of the early attempts to bring authentic mixed martial arts competition to video games. Its focus on recognizable fighters, varied combat techniques, and the UFC's distinctive presentation makes it a notable original Xbox title for fans of combat sports and early MMA gaming history.
