Ghost of Yōtei for PlayStation 5 is an immersive action-adventure game from Sucker Punch Productions, set 300 years after *Ghost of Tsushima*. Step into the role of Atsu, a hardened wandering sellsword turned vengeful spirit—known as an onryō—as she hunts the Yōtei Six across the hauntingly beautiful landscapes of 1603 Hokkaido.
Experience a refined version of the studio’s celebrated katana combat with new mechanics and freedom of narrative: choose how and in what order to confront your enemies as the world reacts to your legend. Traditional fast travel is replaced by a dynamic, movable camp—making each journey feel more connected and immersive. In addition, three cinematic presentation modes let you tailor your experience: the iconic *Kurosawa Mode*, gritty *Miike Mode*, and lo-fi audio-focused *Watanabe Mode* inspired by anime music aesthetics.
In 2026, owners of the base game will gain access to Legends multiplayer mode—free of charge. This co-op feature allows two-player story missions and four-player survival clashes against massive, demonic versions of the Yōtei Six, adding a thrilling new dimension to the experience.
