Description
Description
The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes - Nintendo 3DS is a cooperative action-adventure set in the kingdom of Hytopia, where Princess Styla has been cursed with an embarrassing magical outfit. Link joins a group of similarly dressed heroes and travels through the Drablands to defeat enemies, solve puzzles, and gather materials needed to break the curse.
Gameplay is built around teams of three Links working together through dungeon-like stages filled with enemies, traps, and environmental puzzles. Players can stack their characters into a Totem to reach higher platforms, attack elevated targets, and solve challenges that require cooperation. The game supports solo play using controllable Doppels as well as three-player local multiplayer. Online multiplayer was originally available, but Nintendo ended official Nintendo 3DS online services in 2024.
Developed by Nintendo EPD and Grezzo and published by Nintendo in 2015, The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes offers a multiplayer-focused variation on the traditional Zelda formula. Its cooperative puzzles, costume-based abilities, compact stages, and distinctive visual style make it an appealing choice for Zelda fans and Nintendo 3DS collectors.
