The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes for the Nintendo 3DS brings cooperative multiplayer to the Zelda series in a lighthearted, puzzle-filled adventure set in the stylish kingdom of Hytopia. Known also as Zelda Tri Force Heroes 3DS or Triforce Heroes Nintendo 3DS, this installment lets up to three players team up locally or online as color-coded Links—green, red, and blue—to solve puzzles, defeat enemies, and conquer themed dungeons. Cooperation is key, as players must use teamwork and the new “Totem” mechanic to stack on top of one another to reach new heights and overcome obstacles.
The game also introduces a robust costume system, allowing players to craft and wear outfits that grant special abilities such as improved attacks, defense, or elemental powers. Tri Force Heroes can also be played solo, with Link controlling two doll companions to complete challenges.
