The game follows Liu Kang and Kung Lao as they battle through the events surrounding Mortal Kombat II, uncovering a plot by Shang Tsung and other villains to conquer Earthrealm. Players fight across familiar locations like the Living Forest, the Wastelands, and Goro’s Lair, encountering legendary characters such as Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Kitana, and Raiden along the way.
