Description

Hoshigami: Ruining Blue Earth - PlayStation is a tactical role-playing game set in a war-torn fantasy world where rival nations, ancient powers, and competing religious forces shape the conflict. Players follow a group of warriors drawn into the growing struggle, traveling between towns and battlefields while uncovering a larger story involving political intrigue, betrayal, and the fate of the world.

Gameplay takes place on grid-based maps and emphasizes careful positioning, terrain, attack range, and turn management. The RAP system gives characters action points that can be spent on movement and abilities, while conserving points can affect how quickly a unit acts again. Players can also perform coordinated Session attacks, develop characters through different skills and equipment, and use the game’s Coinfeigm system to access magical abilities tied to various elemental and spiritual powers.

Developed by MaxFive and published in North America by Atlus in 2001, Hoshigami: Ruining Blue Earth is known for its challenging tactical battles and unusually deep character-development systems. Its demanding strategy, distinctive mechanics, and classic isometric presentation make it an appealing choice for fans of tactical RPGs, Atlus releases, and collectors building an original PlayStation library.
