Play more of the Saturn library—without carts or dead-battery headaches—with a refurbished Sega Saturn (Model 2, round buttons) upgraded with FRAM save memory and a region-free BIOS. FRAM keeps your saves intact even if the clock battery dies or is removed, and the region-free BIOS lets you boot US, JP, and EU discs directly.

Upgrades at a glance: FRAM replaces the stock battery-backed save RAM so your game saves are non-volatile, while the region-free BIOS removes region checks for hassle-free imports. (Fighters that need 1MB/4MB expansion still require a RAM cart or Action Replay, sold separately.)

Refurbished & recapped: each unit is fully cleaned inside and out; the optical lens and drive are serviced; contacts/switches are treated; electrolytic capacitors are replaced (recap) for long-term stability; and a fresh CR2032 clock battery is installed. Normal cosmetic wear (light scuffs or small marks) may be present and does not affect gameplay.

Video & setup notes: composite AV included by default; the Saturn also supports S-Video and RGB (SCART) with the appropriate cables (available separately). Pairs well with modern scalers for clean 240p/480i presentation on today’s displays.
