Description
Description
Platinum Treasure Chest is a rare Magic Item released during the Skylanders Giants era. Featuring a metallic platinum finish and an orange Giants base, this collectible is a special variant of the original Hidden Treasure Magic Item from Skylanders Spyro's Adventure. It was originally included in the Skylanders Battlegrounds Starter Pack, making it one of the more unusual and sought-after Magic Items in the series.
In gameplay, the Platinum Treasure Chest functions just like the original Hidden Treasure, helping players locate a buried treasure chest filled with gold during levels. While its in-game functionality remains the same, its distinctive appearance and limited release have made it a favorite among Skylanders collectors.
The Platinum Treasure Chest is compatible with Skylanders Spyro's Adventure, Skylanders Giants, Skylanders SWAP Force, Skylanders Trap Team, Skylanders SuperChargers, and Skylanders Imaginators. Like other Magic Items, it can be placed on the Portal of Power alongside your Skylander to activate its special effect.
Whether you're completing your Magic Item collection or hunting down one of the franchise's most unique variants, the Platinum Treasure Chest is an excellent addition to any Skylanders collection thanks to its distinctive silver finish and uncommon release.
