Dead Island - Xbox 360
Description
Description
Dead Island for the Xbox 360 is an open-world action RPG that blends brutal first-person combat with survival horror on the tropical island of Banoi. What begins as a luxurious vacation quickly turns into a desperate fight for survival after a mysterious zombie outbreak devastates the island, leaving players stranded among hordes of the undead.
Choose from four unique survivors, each with their own combat specialties and skill trees, then explore beaches, jungles, cities, and resorts while completing quests, rescuing other survivors, and scavenging for supplies. Craft and upgrade an enormous variety of melee weapons by combining found items into devastating creations, and use strategic combat to survive increasingly dangerous encounters. Seamless drop-in cooperative multiplayer allows up to four players to battle through the campaign together.
Developed by Techland and published by Deep Silver in 2011, Dead Island earned praise for its satisfying melee combat, deep weapon customization, cooperative gameplay, and expansive open-world design. Its unique blend of role-playing progression and zombie survival helped establish it as one of the standout action games of its generation.
Whether you're expanding your Xbox 360 collection, collecting zombie survival games, or looking for an action-packed cooperative adventure, Dead Island delivers intense combat, rewarding exploration, and countless opportunities to survive the nightmare on Banoi.
