Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked is a family-friendly adventure game inspired by the animated film of the same name, following Alvin, Simon, Theodore, and the Chipettes on a tropical island escapade. After a cruise ship accident leaves the group stranded on a mysterious island, the Chipmunks must work together to explore their surroundings, overcome obstacles, and find a way back home. The story blends lighthearted humor with simple challenges, staying true to the playful tone of the franchise.
Players guide the Chipmunks and Chipettes through a variety of island-themed environments, including beaches, jungles, caves, and ruins. Gameplay focuses on platforming, exploration, and mini-games rather than combat, with characters using teamwork and unique abilities to progress.
