Amplitude for PlayStation 2 is a rhythm-based music game that places players inside a futuristic track where they control different musical layers of a song. Developed by Harmonix, the game challenges players to activate tracks such as drums, bass, and vocals by timing button presses to the beat.
This PS2 rhythm game features a variety of electronic, rock, and hip-hop tracks, along with a single-player campaign and multiplayer modes. Players move across lanes representing different instruments, building the song piece by piece while maintaining combos and accuracy to achieve higher scores.
As a successor to Frequency, Amplitude refines the rhythm gameplay formula with improved visuals, new music, and expanded modes, making it a standout music game experience on PlayStation 2.
