Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate is an open-world action-adventure game for Xbox One set in Victorian-era London during the height of the Industrial Revolution. Developed by Ubisoft Quebec and published by Ubisoft, the game follows twin Assassins Jacob and Evie Frye as they work to dismantle Templar control over the city’s criminal underworld.
Gameplay blends stealth, parkour, and close-quarters combat while giving players the flexibility to approach missions in different ways. Jacob favors a more aggressive, brawler-style approach, while Evie excels at stealth and precision, allowing players to switch between characters based on their preferred play style. A new grappling launcher is introduced to help navigate wider streets and taller buildings, streamlining movement across the city.
London is divided into distinct districts, each controlled by enemy factions that can be weakened through story missions, side activities, and liberation objectives. Players recruit allies, take over gang strongholds, and interact with historical figures woven into the narrative. Progression systems support skill upgrades, gear customization, and character development for both protagonists.
