Battlefield 3 - PlayStation 3
Description
Description
Battlefield 3 - PlayStation 3 is a modern military first-person shooter that combines a cinematic single-player campaign with the large-scale combat the Battlefield series is known for. The story follows several characters across locations in the Middle East, Europe, and the United States as they uncover a growing international threat involving the PLR.
Gameplay features infantry combat alongside vehicles such as tanks, helicopters, and jets, with destructible environments and class-based teamwork playing major roles in multiplayer. Players can choose from Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon classes, each with specialized equipment and battlefield roles. The PlayStation 3 version also includes the cooperative mission mode, allowing two players to tackle objective-based scenarios together.
Developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts in 2011, Battlefield 3 was one of the franchise’s defining releases of the PlayStation 3 era and showcased the Frostbite 2 engine’s visual and environmental effects. Its combination of military action, vehicle combat, and squad-focused gameplay makes it an appealing choice for Battlefield fans, first-person shooter enthusiasts, and collectors building a PlayStation 3 library.
