C-12 Final Resistance - PlayStation
Description
Description
C-12 Final Resistance - PlayStation is a third-person science-fiction action game set on a devastated Earth under attack by an alien force known as the C-12. Players take control of Lieutenant Riley Vaughan, a resistance soldier enhanced with cybernetic implants, as he fights through ruined cities, military facilities, and enemy strongholds in an effort to stop humanity from being harvested and transformed.
Gameplay combines third-person shooting, exploration, puzzle solving, and light stealth elements. Vaughan can use a variety of firearms and futuristic weapons while scanning environments, targeting enemies, and interacting with machinery. His cybernetic abilities play an important role throughout the adventure, allowing him to access information and overcome obstacles as missions become more dangerous and heavily defended.
Developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s Cambridge Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2001, C-12 Final Resistance was released late in the original PlayStation’s lifespan. Its dark science-fiction setting, cybernetic protagonist, varied mission design, and blend of shooting and exploration make it an interesting choice for action game fans and PlayStation collectors.
