The Cursed Crusade is an action-adventure game for the Xbox 360 set during the time of the Fourth Crusade. Developed by Kylotonn and published by Atlus, the game follows two warriors bound by a mysterious curse as they fight through a dark, historically inspired medieval world.
Gameplay emphasizes close-quarters melee combat, focusing on weapon-based fighting with swords, axes, and other medieval arms. Players can switch between a normal realm and a cursed realm, each affecting enemy behavior, environments, and combat dynamics. This dual-realm system adds strategic depth to encounters and exploration.
The game supports both solo play and cooperative multiplayer, allowing two players to fight side by side through the campaign. Levels are designed around linear progression with frequent combat encounters and occasional environmental puzzles. Progression unlocks new weapons and combat abilities.
