Description
Description
D-2 for the SEGA Dreamcast is a unique survival horror adventure from acclaimed game designer Kenji Eno, blending cinematic storytelling, exploration, and first-person action into an unforgettable experience. Set in the remote Canadian wilderness, the story follows Laura Parton after a mysterious plane crash leaves her stranded in a frozen landscape where a strange alien lifeform begins transforming wildlife into terrifying creatures.
Explore vast snow-covered environments while searching for supplies, solving puzzles, and uncovering the truth behind the mysterious outbreak. Manage your health, stamina, hunger, and body temperature as you hunt wildlife for food and carefully conserve limited resources. When danger strikes, switch to intense first-person combat to fend off mutated creatures using a variety of firearms and weapons. The game's blend of survival mechanics, cinematic cutscenes, and psychological storytelling creates a distinctive experience unlike any other on the Dreamcast.
Developed by Warp and published by SEGA in 1999, D-2 serves as a spiritual successor to Kenji Eno's earlier title D, though it tells a completely standalone story. Featuring impressive visuals, an emotional narrative, and one of the Dreamcast's most ambitious productions, it has become a cult classic among survival horror fans and collectors.
Whether you're expanding your SEGA Dreamcast collection, collecting survival horror games, or discovering one of the console's most unique adventures, D-2 delivers atmospheric exploration, memorable storytelling, and a chilling journey through an unforgiving frozen wilderness.
