Digging for Dinosaurs is an edutainment title developed by CokeM Interactive and published by Scholastic for the Nintendo DS in November 2010. Using the interactive touchscreen, players visit dig sites around the world to extract fossils from various landscapes. Once a fossil is cleaned and assembled, it unlocks a specific mini-game adventure where the player takes control of that legendary creature—ranging from a Triceratops battling a T-Rex to an Eoraptor hunting its prey. The game features 21 different dinosaur species, and each discovery includes educational content intended to separate scientific fact from common myths.
