Originally released with the Skylanders Battlegrounds Starter Pack during the Skylanders Giants era, it features the original Spyro's Adventure sculpt with an orange Giants base. Because it combines characteristics of both Series 1 and Series 2, collectors commonly refer to it as "Series 1.5"—an unofficial nickname that has become widely recognized within the Skylanders community. The official model number for this figure is 83977888.
Although it uses the original Spyro's Adventure pose, the figure is recognized in-game as a Series 2 Double Trouble, giving players access to the Series 2 upgrade path and Wow Pow ability while retaining the classic sculpt that many fans prefer.
