Description
Description
Double Trouble "Series 1.5" (Model 83977888) is one of the most unique figures in the entire Skylanders franchise. Originally released with the Skylanders Battlegrounds Starter Pack during the Skylanders Giants era, it features the original Spyro's Adventure sculpt with an orange Giants base. Because it combines characteristics of both Series 1 and Series 2, collectors commonly refer to it as "Series 1.5"—an unofficial nickname that has become widely recognized within the Skylanders community. The official model number for this figure is 83977888.
Although it uses the original Spyro's Adventure pose, the figure is recognized in-game as a Series 2 Double Trouble, giving players access to the Series 2 upgrade path and Wow Pow ability while retaining the classic sculpt that many fans prefer.
Double Trouble "Series 1.5" is compatible with Skylanders Spyro's Adventure, Skylanders Giants, Skylanders SWAP Force, Skylanders Trap Team, Skylanders SuperChargers, and Skylanders Imaginators. Character progress—including experience, gold, and upgrades—is stored directly on the figure and carries across compatible games and consoles.
Whether you're building a complete Skylanders collection or searching for one of the franchise's most interesting releases, Double Trouble "Series 1.5" (Model 83977888) is a must-have for collectors thanks to its unusual combination of the original Spyro's Adventure sculpt and Giants-era functionality.
