Description
Fairy Fencer F - PlayStation 3 is a fantasy role-playing game that follows Fang, a carefree young man who becomes a Fencer after pulling a mysterious weapon known as a Fury from the ground. Joined by the fairy Eryn, Fang becomes involved in a conflict surrounding ancient weapons connected to two powerful deities, the Goddess and the Vile God, while meeting other Fencers with their own goals and motivations.
Gameplay combines exploration and story-driven progression with turn-based battles in which characters can move freely around the battlefield before attacking. Furies can be customized with fairies to alter abilities and statistics, while the Fairize system allows characters to temporarily transform for increased combat power. Players can also perform combination attacks, learn new skills, and use the World Shaping system to influence dungeons with different effects and bonuses.
Developed by Compile Heart and released for PlayStation 3 in North America by NIS America in 2014, Fairy Fencer F features character artwork by Yoshitaka Amano and character designs by Tsunako. Its colorful cast, customizable combat system, humor, and anime-inspired presentation make it an appealing choice for JRPG fans and PlayStation 3 collectors.
